What is the Device Map?
The Device Map is a great way to view your devices on a map. The device map tool is a useful tool for trouble shooting and planning future meter developments. You can select any specific meter or sort with an assortment of filters to help find issues or a desired group of meters.
When you select a meter it will highlight that meter in a purple and yellow target, it will show all the device details at the left of your screen such as device name, serial and type along with account and location details.
At the bottom of the device details you have access to the 4 AMI actions, On Demand Reads, Power Status Check, Show Communication Path and Go to Data View.
Features of the Device Map
Filters
In the Filters Tab, you can toggle based on Device Type and Device Status. More advanced filter options are also available in the Search Filters section, you can look up the Device Name, Meter Type, Account Name, Account Number, Location ID, Street Name, MAC Address and USPD ID.
Meter Service Queue Status
When using the Meter Service Queue Status Tab
Device Map Export
The Device Map Export button will give you an Excel spreadsheet with information pertaining to the devices you have selected.
Center on All
Center On All will simply push your camera to see all of your devices at the same time.
Center On Selected
Center On Selected will zoom in and bring you to any selected units.
Toggle Points Of Interest
Toggle points of Interest will turn off any greenspace and notable location markers on the map.
Weather
The Weather Tab will bring a small side bar that tells you the maximum, median and minimum temperature.
