Alerts & Thresholds

How to set Alerts & Thresholds for Overloaded transformers, Voltage issues, Outages, etc.

When HealthMAP/SmartMAP is configured, all users with a high enough level of access are allowed to configure alerts.

You can accomplish this by following the steps below.  A UC agent can also perform these changes on behalf of the utility.

healthmap.utilismart.com OR smartmap.utilismart.com

After successful login, select the hamburger menu in the upper left corner:

At the bottom of the menu, select 'Admin'

Select the 'Alerts' tab at the top, then in the drop down next to 'Choose type', select the alert to edit.

For Threshold, set the % value which will trigger the threshold.  In the case below, it will be triggered when a Transformer is over 100% of capacity

Time Period & # Occurrences are used together to add further detail to how alerts are triggered.  With the settings below, not only must the loading be over 100% of capacity, but it also must log readings of over 100% at least 2 times during a 5hr period.  Using values as below instead of a setting with # of occurrences = 1 will prevent a single bad reading or short issue from triggering the alert.
