Importing References & Styles

Various references are used in SmartMAP to define the properties of:

• Conductors
• Distribution Transformers
• Protection Elements
• Load Categories

• Visibility Rules (when some types of elements are hidden on the map)
• Line Colors & Symbology
• Node Colors & Symbology

While they can be modified within SmartMAP, sometimes it is easier to import items which were created for use in a different model.

To import references from a previous model, open the model you wish to import the references to, and ensure it is in editing mode if a system model.

Select Analysis --> Loads --> Import References

Select 'User-selected system file' and point it to the model you wish to import the references from

Check the boxes of the items you wish to import, then select 'Import Items'
